4. Lawful Bases for Processing

Depending on the circumstances, Infoadvance processes personal data based on one or more of the following:

  • Your consent;
  • The performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract;
  • Compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation;
  • Protection of your life, health, or safety or that of another person;
  • Infoadvance’s legitimate business interests, provided these do not override your fundamental privacy rights; or

Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing already lawfully performed. It also does not prevent continued processing when another lawful basis or legal retention requirement applies.

5. Disclosure and Data Sharing

Your personal data may be disclosed, only when necessary and subject to appropriate safeguards, to:

  • Authorized Infoadvance officers, employees, trainers, consultants, and administrative personnel;
  • Your employer, sponsoring organization, or contracting party, particularly for registration confirmation, attendance, assessment, certification, or billing;

These parties may act as personal information processors or independent personal information controllers. Infoadvance requires contracted service providers to process personal data only for authorized purposes and to apply appropriate confidentiality and information security measures.

If personal data is stored or processed outside the Philippines through a cloud or online service provider, Infoadvance will apply appropriate contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards consistent with applicable privacy requirements.

6. Photographs and Recordings

Some face-to-face or online training activities may be photographed or recorded for documentation, quality assurance, internal reporting, or promotional purposes.

When photographs or recordings will be used for public communications, social media, advertisements, or other promotional materials, Infoadvance will provide appropriate notice and obtain separate consent when required.

Participants may communicate reasonable objections to the organizer before or during the activity.

7. Website Cookies and Advertising Measurement

Our public website uses the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), to measure how well our online advertisements work.

When you visit our public web pages, the Meta Pixel may collect and send to Meta:

  • The pages you view on our website, and the date and time of your visit;
  • Whether you submitted a training registration, an in-house training inquiry, or our Contact Us form — only the fact that a form was submitted, not what you wrote in it;
  • Your IP address and information about your browser and device; and
  • Cookies and similar identifiers stored in your browser. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram on the same browser, Meta may be able to associate this activity with your account.

We use this information to understand whether our advertisements lead people to our website and to our training programs, and to show our advertisements to people who have visited our website or who may be interested in similar services.

We do not send Meta your name, email address, phone number, organization, or the contents of any form you submit. The Meta Pixel is not used on our post-training assessment, evaluation, or attendance pages, nor on our internal administration system.

Meta processes this information under its own terms and data policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy), which may involve processing outside the Philippines.

You can limit this tracking at any time without affecting your ability to use our website or register for a training program, for example by blocking third-party cookies in your browser settings, using a browser extension that blocks trackers, or adjusting your advertising preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

  • Controlled access to physical and electronic records;
  • Incident detection, reporting, response, and recovery procedures;
  • Supplier and service-provider security requirements; and
  • Secure disposal, deletion, or anonymization of records.

No online system can guarantee absolute security. Infoadvance will regularly review its safeguards and address identified privacy and information security risks.
