A safe and healthy workplace is a productive workplace! Each organization is primarily responsible for the occupational health and safety of its workers and other interested parties who can be affected by its activities. This responsibility includes promoting and protecting their physical and mental health. The establishment of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) will enable an organization to provide safe and healthy workplaces, prevent work-related injury and ill-health, and provide a framework for continually improving its health and safety performance. OHSMS is more than just your regular health and safety programs but includes establishing health and safety policies, systems, standards, documents and records to be integrated into your business processes. This will help your organization promote a culture of having a safe and healthy work.
